I BOUGHT A KIA RIO IN FEB
JUST GOT PULLED OVER BY METRO - NOT REALISING THAT MY CAR LICENSE IS EXPIRED ! KIA MOTORS IS RESPONSIBLE FOR RENEWING MY LICENSE.
MY FATHER IN-LAW WENT TO KIA TODAY AND GETS TOLD THAT THE CAR HAS NOT EVEN BEEN REGISTERED YET !!! (not road worthy) hasnt been through its checks - NOTHING !!!
THE STEERING WHEEL ALIGNMENT HAS ENDLESS PROBLEMS
I ORDERED A STONE GAURD - THAT WAS PROMISED TO ME WHEN I BOUGHT IT , IT STILL HAS NOT ARRIVED- THE MANANGER IS NOT EVEN AWARE OF THIS
THERE IS A CRACK ON THE STEERING WHEEL
WE SIGNED THE LICENCE PAPERS , THEREFORE WE SHOULD HAVE A RENEWED LICENSE IN THE POST - THERE IS NOTHING - LEAVING ME WITH A R1000.00 FINE FROM METRO
I SUGGEST KIA SORTS THIS PROBLEM OUT
AS I AM EXTREMELY UNHAPPY
I DO NOT WANT THIS CAR AND I DO NOT WANT THIS SERVICE !!!
I WILL NOT DEAL WITH THE ALIGNMENT NOT BEING FIXED AS THIS WILL RUIN THE TYRES AND I WILL NOT PAY THIS FINE- KIA MOTORS CAN PAY THIS FINE
EVERYTIME I NEED TO FIND OUT SOMETHING IE: WHERE IS THE STONE GAURD , THE RESPONSE I GET IS "I WILL BE HERE IN A WEEK MAAM"

vinyl peeling off steering wheel
Hey All,
I just had to have my steering wheel replaced in my 6 month old 2012 Soul 4U. A little piece of the vinyl covering the steering wheel began to peel off at the top I think probably due to sun exposure and heat as we had a few very warm weeks. If it matters, I always do crack the windows open a bit so it doesn't get too hot in the car and all windows are dark tinted except the windshield.
Anybody else have this problem?
I had it in my last car too but after 12 years or so, not just a few months. I don't wear rings that could have roughed it up at all and the dealership gave me
troubles with replacing it just now I'm concerned it will happen again a short time down the road...

I only have about 2700KM or 1677Miles for my american friends..
That doesn't seem like a lot which it isn't by some standards, but my steering wheel is starting to crack at the 12 o clock top position, an area which i don't even put my hand ... i have a bad shoulder so prolonged height use kills so i avoid it
this doesn't seem normal to me..... i haven't treated it.. didn't think i needed too being with so many low miles... dealer suggested i only clean it and not treat it , but that is beside the point.
edit: i did search but the thread was in the hybrid section i don't own a hybrid

Като цяло не всички се оплакват и няма връзка с ел. утопляемия волан, но където се е белил волана, се бели отново дори и след подмяна.
Преди години VW обесняваха за Golf V,че това се дължи на козметиката използвана от някои собственици.
